Georgia is settling in just fine...

Georgia and I arrived in Frankfurt and in the car we went. She has since then settled in just fine into her new German Home.

Sunsets are Beautiful! so are the storm clouds.

This view from our window is so pretty at sunset... Have a look! Its even cool as a storm is rolling thru!

Life in a German town...

So I went for a 2 hour walk today around the outskirts of town thru the fields and below is a little of what I saw. I wish I could bottle up the smells as well and share them with you!

the city of Filderstadt.
You can see the TV tower in the way back!

some sunflowers are still alive in this cold weather!

Nothing new to report

The weekend started off very wet and stayed that way. The last 2 weekends it has rained and no castle hoping and no cabbage festival. We got a late start to our Saturday and went to IKEA. It was super busy so we got in and out pretty fast. Then we headed to a Mexican restaurant and had dinner. We got to watch some college football when we were there. The place was really busy with one cook and one waiter. We were there pretty long and enjoyed our meal and football. Hopefully next week will be rain free and we will be able to do something new and fun!

Oktoberfest 2009 Germany

Ryan and I hit up our first Oktoberfest! It was amazing. Great fun, great people watching and GREAT Chicken! It was like a carnival on the outside and once you got into the tent It was like a huge rock concert and tons off drunk people everywhere you turned! Enjoy! Not as much as we did though... Saturday was a definate day of rest for us!
